Hafdís Bjarnadóttir

Composer and electric guitarist Hafdís Bjarnadóttir was born in Reykjavík in 1977. She has been active in the Icelandic avant garde music scene for over a decade, collaborating with numerous artists on both sides of the Atlantic. Hafdis combines her training in jazz and classical music with her interpretation of the 'sounds of life' to produce music that has been described as both comforting and challenging at the same time.
