Dagur Kári is a member of the icelandic duo, slowblow. In addition to it´s three albums, "Quicksilver Tuna", "Fousque" and "slowblow", the band has composed scores to the films "Noi Albinoi", "Voksne Mennesker" and "The Good Heart", also written and directed by Kari. In 2011 slowblow was nominated for the Nordic Filmcomposer award fort the soundtrack of Arni Olafur Asgeirsson´s "Undercurrent".

This March Reykjavik’s Harpa Concert Hall comes to life with 17 concerts and events featuring more than 150 musicians, composers and amateurs. The festival will present different genres of music; classical and electronic music, improvisation, noise and many more. 3 different halls will be used to present orchestral,ensemble,chamber,solo music, sound installations and films. In different foyer areas large scale works by Cage,Wolff and Berio will be presented. Some of the best independent musicians of Iceland will be involved performing classic works as well as new creations.
